In David Attenborough 2021 address he called upon us all to think about ways we can create a positive impact on our planet.
“It’s a crucial moment in our history. This could be a year for positive change, for ourselves, for our planet and for the wonderful creatures with which we share it. A year the world could remember proudly and say, ‘we made a difference’. As we make our new years’ resolutions, let’s think about what each of us can do.”
In his latest Netflix documentary, A Life on Our Planet, Attenborough urges us to rethink our diets
“We must change our diet. The planet can’t support billions of meat eaters…..If we had a mostly plant-based diet we could increase the yield of the land. We have an urgent need for free land… Nature is our biggest ally.”
